Our Story
Agduath Achim Synagogue is a conservative "shul" located in Shreveport, Louisiana, and home to an active community of friends and families. We are proud of our long-standing role in Shreveport and our commitment to the welfare of Northern Louisiana's Jewish culture and heritage. Our doors are open, all are welcome to share our rich ties and traditions. May you have peace and shalom.
CANTOR NEIL SCHWARTZ
Cantor Neil Schwartz has brought Judaism in general and Jewish music in particular to young children, students of all ages, families, adult learners, and seniors. He currently provides pastoral care to our congregants. He works with the Shreveport community to provide knowledge of the Jewish faith and support for those in need.
Cantor Neil earned his Diploma of Hazzan from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and JTS awarded him an Honorary Doctorate for a full career of teaching and chanting.

Sisterhood Shabbat Dinner at 6:30pm Services to follow. Matzo Ball Gumbo! Adults: $5.00 Children 6 and under free. Your check is your reservation. Please have your check in the office by January 13.

SISTERHOOD MEETING
Come join us in planning our next events. Sisterhood dues are $36.00. Send your checks to Sara Zweig. Our next activity will be making latkes Friday, December 30th, 9:00 A.M. The next meeting is January 8th at 10:30 A.M. Please attend as we have some upcoming projects/programs to discuss including the Sisterhood Matzo Ball Gumbo Shabbat dinner and service on January 20th

Bat Mitzvah in honor of Sophie Weiner’s Bat Mitzvah will be on Saturday, January 21st at BZ. There will NOT be Saturday morning services at AA so that we may attend BZ and celebrate this simcha.
